To celebrate the 140th year of St Luke’s Church, Reading, we have proclaimed a Year of Wholeness & Healing. This runs from June 27th 2022 (the anniversary of the dedication of the foundation stone) to June 6th 2023 (the anniversary of the consecration of the finished church building).

The theme of Wholeness & Healing is inspired by St Luke – the patron saint of doctors, healers and the arts – for a time in the world when we are recovering from the COVID-19 pandemic, seeing increased division across church and society at home and abroad, and witnessing the disastrous effects of the climate emergency.

We hope to host a programme of events and services throughout the year as we seek to serve God and the people of Redlands parish. If you would like to contribute financially to the mission of the church, please visit our Giving page.

Check in here to see how things change and develop, or sign up for our weekly news sheet by emailing: [email protected]

Join us on our journey for the year ahead as we seek to offer the wholeness and healing that comes with the love of God.

God bless,Revd Ross Meikle, Vicar
